Asscher Diamond RatioUpdated 2 months ago
Diamond ratios are calculated by dividing the length of the diamond by the width.
Asscher diamonds are typically square and symmetrical in shape. They should be equal in their length and width, and will therefore have a ratio of 1.0 or close to.
For excellent cut asscher diamonds, a ratio up to 1.03 is acceptable.
If you prefer a more elongated shape, you may like to consider an emerald-shaped diamond.
The dimensions of a diamond can be found on the diamond certificate. They are listed as length x width x depth.
