Can I mix the metal colours of my engagement and wedding rings?Updated 2 months ago
Absolutely! There are no limits to the styling options when it comes to mixing metals within jewellery, especially for your bridal or engagement stack. A mixed metal combination can be an intentional style choice.
When mixing metals, the only rule is that rings worn alongside each other must have the same metal karat - as this affects their level of hardness.
If rings are varying levels of hardness, one ring can physically scratch or wear away another over time.
For example if your ring is 18K Yellow Gold, it can only be paired with either 18K White or 18K Rose Gold.
We do not advise mixing gold metals with Platinum rings.
